Hey everyone! We have had a busy month and a half! We need to ask for people to pray concerning our psychological exam. The clinic overbooked themselves and is now thinking that we are taking up too many of their appointments at their office and wants us to start over somewhere else. It is quite frustrating. Our psychologist however mentioned that we should keep our appointments but also try to get an appointment scheduled at his private practice. We have been trying to do so with no answer from his office. I have even gone personally to the private practice and no one was there. We just feel a bit stuck on this and know this is going to delay things, which we did not want to happen. But we also know that God allows things to happen for a reason, so no time waiting is wasted! In the meantime, our case worker comes to do our home study visit on December 6! So we are thrilled to be moving forward there!
In the meantime, today we are launching our Christmas fundraiser! We have dollar amounts from $1 up to $65 that people can choose and as these dollar amounts are chosen, we will decorate the Christmas tree! In the end, the tree will display the colors of the Philippines flag and will be a special tree that our children will be able to decorate each year together. Also, if you would like to give in honor of somebody for Christmas, here is a letter that you can give to them. What better way to celebrate Christmas than to give the gift of a family to children? You can play a part in that for a small amount.
